a history in pictures - happy birthday to us Greenock Telegraph 20th September 2006 - click to enlarge ah - handy that the centre's birthday fell on the same day as international talk like a pirate day and indeed what better way to celebrate a birthday than dressing up at work like pirates? many "Yarr!" and "Avast!" noises could be heard throughout the day as centre staff entertained children from local schools with treasure hunts and games, as well as welcoming in members of the public and representatives of local organisations to the centre. there was also cake. |
