trust meeting and events hosting We at the Trust are pleased to assist the efforts of local groups, organisations and agencies wherever possible and as part of this provide facilities to help them in their efforts. Several of our locations are set up with meeting, interview or training rooms to host group discussions, interviews, drop-in sessions or lectures as required by many of these bodies. Nicolson Street and to some extent the lower floor of the Westburn Centre are capable of hosting interviews and drop-ins, the latter can also accommodate smaller group meetings. The Regeneration Centre at 7½ John Wood Street in Port Glasgow is set up to handle all manner of gatherings, from one-to-one interviews up to large conferences and lectures or training sessions, up to a capacity of forty people in the large training room - of course the entire centre can be booked (reservations permitting) for full-day events, and in doing so can accommodate a great many more people. This centre has late opening hours for additional flexibility. 7½ can also host groups requiring drop-in office accommodation through our innovative hot-desk spaces, a service that allows workers access to a wide range of office facilities if they cannot be accommodated in or do not have ready access to their organisations own premises or, as is common with smaller organisations, do not currently have access to these services. The Port Glasgow Resource Centre also has facilities to accommodate large meetings or training sessions in four dedicated training/conference suites, some of which are to be upgraded in the very near future. Groups and organisations requiring longer-term accommodation can be catered for at the Nicolson Street and Port Glasgow Business Centre premises; Nicolson Street can provide small office space, although vacancies at this town-centre venue are limited. Port Glasgow Business Centre can provide large and flexible office suite accommodation within a spacious and welcoming building. This location provides good car parking and can be easily reached from the major trunk roads and the M8 motorway. Please contact the centre to discuss your needs or for contact details and information on the Trust's other hosting venues. |
