the advisory group While the Regeneration Centre is managed by Inverclyde Community Development Trust, the idea came from within the Port Glasgow community. A number of community representatives from groups and organisations across Port Glasgow got together to help make the centre a reality. 7½ still works very closely with the Advisory Group in developing new ideas and opportunities within the centre - we all meet every six weeks. Most of the Advisory Group members are Port Glasgow residents - and most of them are "well kent" faces about town. All of them are happy to talk to you about the work of the centre or to hear your ideas about what else you'd like to see. Pictured: John Sharpe, Mary Sanderson, Anne Ross, John Cassidy, Jim Lennon and Elizabeth McDonald No direct contact details are provided for the members of the Advisory Group in the interest of privacy, however any messages can be left via the Centre using the contact details provided in the contact us link. On becoming a local councillor, Jim Grieve (not pictured) resigned his duties on the 7½ advisory group. Our sincere thanks to him for all his work before and after the opening of the centre. |
